What We Believe
Calvary Chapel Brazos Valley has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are a non-denominational church established on the foundational truths of the Bible. The following biblical doctrines are the basis for our ministry and teaching.
Times & Location
Sunday morning service begins at 11:00 AM and our Wednesday night service starts at 7:00 PM. We are located east of State Highway 6 near Coulter Airfield. Join us for service in person. We are passionate about teaching the Bible, loving Jesus, and loving people.
In November of 2011, Calvary Chapel Brazos Valley began as a home fellowship. Within a few months, the Lord opened the doors for them to lease a storefront to gather in. Recognizing the hunger people had for fellowship and verse-by-verse biblical teaching, the church gathered as often as possible throughout the week. Over time God began to increase the church.
My name is Eddie Sahakian, and I am honored to serve as the senior pastor for Calvary Chapel Brazos Valley. On April 14, 2002, I received Christ as my Lord and Savior after an intense battle with substance abuse. I married my wife, Sheri, in 2011, and God has blessed us with three amazing sons, Levi, Liam, and Lincoln. I greatly desire to see souls saved by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and lives changed by teaching God’s Word!
